Let Me Be Clear About Something...

If the Nats sell even temporary rights to Nationals Park to PETA, which proposes to rent the rights and call it GoVeg.com Field, I will eat NOTHING but meat in protest. Depending on the length of their tenure as sponsor, I may also begin to kill animals if it is deemed necessary.

Don't fucking push me, PETA. I may die long before vegetarians, but damn you, I'll die happy.

"GoVeg.com" ballpark with Five Guys as its most popular restaurant seems rather fitting.

Now for my brilliant and/or crazy thought of the day:

With Dukes and WMP injured, why don't the Nats play Dmitri Young in the outfield? Granted it would be a defensive abomination, but that describes Dmitri's entire career. He had 74 RBI on a team with batting luminaries Nook Logan, Schneider, and Langerhans. Imagine what he could do in the Nats spiffy new batting order.

Basically I see it as Dmitri Young (terrible defense, good power, good all round hitting) over Willie Harris (decent defense, mediocre hitting, above average base stealing).

I think the reason the Nats aren't playing him in the OF is because his defense isn't just an abomination, but if he was in the outfield, anything hit to left would be a hit. He's got the range of a mailbox, as Baseball Prospectus pointed out. But according to MLB.com, they're considering playing Felipe in Left. Which would be... I don't know, weird? He's never played in the outfield before.

Maybe Nick Johnson could play Left? But he's a really good 1B. We'll see.
